Homestead Gardening and Poultry Rearing
Homestead gardening is one of the most important and on going activity of the organization, which has been started from 1987 for the improvement of the nutritional status, economic status, utilization of the fallow homesteads. So far, approximately 18, 50,000 homestead gardens have been developed with the targeted families, which has been initiated the community people and approximately 33, 00,000 homestead gardens are developed by the community people. The main activities: motivation, nutrition education, posturing, leafleting, documentary film shows, nursery development, seedlings production, seedling distribution, credit support for homestead gardening, training, seminar, workshops etc.
