Improve Fire Stove Installation Program
VOSD has been preparing and installing improved fire stoves in Barisal district covering Uzirpur, Barisal Sadar and Mehendigonj Upazillas with the support of GTZ-Germany from 2006 and has been installed more than 1200 improved fire stoves, which has been used by the beneficiaries and other community people. Still GTZ-Germany has been supporting the program in Mehendigonj Upazilla of Barisal District. The improved oven use has been reducing carbon evaporation in the air, which is promoting total environment and preventing climate change.
