Motivation and Institution building (Group Formation)
VOSD started group Formation from 1987. The organization first selects the working areas conducts base line surveys and identifies the targeted beneficiaries. After Identification motivates and educates the identified targeted people on the vision, mission, goal and objectives of the organization and also discusses about the activities of the organization.
When the beneficiaries realize that that they should be organized, then the staff members and idea increase and collect sleekly savings to build capital for the poor beneficiaries for self-capital increase and develop group funds and continuously continue those activities. The organized members are provided different capacity and skill development training courses, workshops and seminars. So far approximately 7,65,638 targeted people have been organization into approximately 1,2354 savings groups and their accumulated savings size is Tk. 1,02,53,517/-, which is being revolved for undertaking income generating activities by the group members.
